CD Grading Scale

Below is the CD surface grading scale that we use. We rate very conservatively, so be assured that you will receive a product that adheres to the scale:

SEALED = Factory sealed CD.

M =  Mint condition. We only rate "M" if the CD is pristine with no visible surface flaws.

NM = The CD surface has one or two minor imperfections that have no effect on playback.

NM- = CD has one or two very minor surface scuffs/light hairline scratches that have no effect on playback.

VG++ = Two to three very minor scuffs/ light hairline scratches with no effect on playback.

VG+ = Light surface scuffs/hairline scratches that have no effect on playback.

VG = Medium amount of surface scuffs/hairline scratches with no effect on playback.

VG- = A fair (but in now way heavy) amount of light scuffs/hairline scratches that have no effect on playback.
